The long vowel can expand into a double vowel with a stress on its second element while the macaron is being removed. For example: the word hū can be expanded in its variant huufi to become a double vowels uu and not hūfi’. Fakahā can become fakahaa’i not fakahā’iwhile fakahū can be used in the form of fakahuu’i not fakahū’i for the same reason.
